Has a character ever inspired you to be better or do more?
If the answer is yes, please take the time to share which character inspires
you and why. It can be any character—one you wrote or read about, or watched in
a movie.
My favorite part about connecting with a character is when I
find myself wanting to be more like them. That doesn't necessarily mean I want
to look or act like them, or live how they live. It's more like I might want to
be stronger in ways they are. Or I might want to have more patience like the
character, or be quieter, or louder, or bolder, or braver.
Today I challenge you to name a character you admire and why!
I'll start it!
At this time, I'd have to say the character
I'm most inspired by is Hazel from The Fault in Our Stars. She's brave, kind,
and courageous in ways that make me want to be a better person.
Now you go!!!!!!
See for me I liked Hazel, I did. But Augustus he sought to leave a mark, to save people to do something heroic and he even felt like he hadn't. But really he saved Hazel Grace in many ways. I wouldn't mind being more like him. Always found some sort of way to laugh
ReplyDeleteI was actually going to say Hazel or Augustus also. But I'll try another character. I really liked Juliet from the Shatter Me series. The character arch in that series is amazing. Juliet starts out unsteady, lost, hurt, and confused and *not to spoil anything* turns into a completely different character. So, yes. I would love to become her!
ReplyDeleteI have to say rose from the vampire Academy series. She's fierce in ways that I can only wish to be.
ReplyDeleteAs a kid, I was inspired by Anne of Green Gables. I used to devour all of Lucy Maud Montgomery's books and dream of someday being a writer myself. I blame Montgomery for the kind of person I'm today!
ReplyDeleteHmm, I think I'll say Katniss from THE HUNGER GAMES. I admire her strength and the way she takes care of the people she loves. I would love to have her brand of courage and feisty spirit. I would never want her life though!
